What is a WordCamp<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s a day of talks focused on WordPress and related topics. Anyone can attend, from casual WordPress users to development specialists. The aim is to share ideas and experiences, broaden and deepen knowledge and establish new contacts. WordCamps are inclusive events, everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The idea is to gather everyone in the same place and on the same day (Saturday, 9 April) in order to offer a rich program: a track dedicated to talks, another track to workshops, a Happiness Bar (to ask all your questions about WordPress), a contribution table (like on a contribution day), without forgetting coffee, lunch and an evening meal with its after-party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This venue will host the whole WordCamp and can accommodate up to 140 people. It is easily accessible by public transport: you can easily plan a day trip, even from the other end of Switzerland!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A day to contribute<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This edition of WordCamp will not have a dedicated \u00ab\u00a0Contributor Day<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb but a contribution area around \u00ab\u00a0The Table\u00a0\u00bb will be organised. Contributors will be able to join it throughout the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For anyone less experienced, an \u00ab\u00a0Introduction to contribution\u00a0\u00bb session will show you that any degree of knowledge or level of skills is welcome to participate in this beautiful open-source WordPress project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An affordable price<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordCamps are affordable events. You will benefit from the whole program for only CHF 25, including a t-shirt, talks, coffee, lunch and dinner. While the real entrance fee is around CHF 180, so we can thank our sponsors<\/a> for paying the difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
