Le WordCamp Genève 2020 aura lieu à l’espace de coworking Blandonnet Voisins.

Le projet Voisins offre des espaces de coworking aux nomades numériques qui en ont assez de la solitude du bureau à domicile, qui peinent à se concentrer dans le brouhaha des cafés ou qui sont peu inspirés dans le silence et l’environnement stérile des bibliothèques et des bureaux.

Voisins propose déjà quatre sites à Genève. Ceux-ci offrent des espaces de travail publics et privés, ainsi que des salles de conférence de différentes tailles. Ils sont en outre tous dotés d’un café où l’on peut venir prendre une petite pause ou se poser avec une boisson chaude et une collation pour revigorer les cellules grises.

Blandonnet Voisins, le plus récent des quatre sites, a ouvert ses portes en juin 2019. Sa proximité de l’aéroport (et de la gare de Genève-Aéroport) et une liaison directe avec le centre-ville et la gare principale (Genève Cornavin) en fait un endroit idéal pour les personnes en déplacement ou pour les locaux ayant besoin d’un espace de coworking facilement accessible.

Parking

Quelques places de stationnement se trouvent autour de l’immeuble, mais elles seront probablement rapidement toutes occupées.

Le centre commercial Blandonnet, de l’autre côté de la rue, offre un stationnement gratuit le samedi entre 5h et 20h. L’entrée du parking se trouve ici et ici. Veuillez noter que le parking à Blandonnet ferme à 20h00 et ne rouvre que le lundi matin!

Un parking souterrain payant est également disponible à côté de l’immeuble. Le stationnement pour une journée entière peut coûter assez cher!

Si vous prévoyez de rester pour l’After Party, nous vous recommandons un stationnement à Blandonnet pendant la journée et de garer votre voiture à côté de l’immeuble en soirée.

Let’s meet up in a brand new location

WordCamp Genève 2020 is going to take place at the coworking space Blandonnet Voisins.

The Voisins Project offers co-working spaces for digital nomads who are tired of being alone while working from home, cannot concentrate in the noise of the coffee shops, or find the silence and sterile environments of libraries and offices mind-numbing.

Voisins already has four locations across Geneva, offering public and private working spaces, as well as conference rooms of different sizes. Also, all of them are accompanied by a café where you can take a 5-minute break or grab a hot drink or snack to reinvigorate your brain cells.

Blandonnet Voisins opened in June 2019 and is the newest of the locations. Its proximity to the airport (and the train station there), and a direct connection to the city centre and the main train station (Genève Cornavin) makes it an ideal location for both people on the go and locals who need a co-working space with easy access.

Parking

There are a few parking spots around the building, which will likely fill up fast.

The Blandonnet Shopping Center on the other side of the road offers free parking on Saturdays between 5am and 8pm. The entrance to the parking can be found here and here. Please note, Blandonnet Parking closes at 8pm and reopens only Monday morning!

Underground parking is also available next to the building for a fee. Parking there for a whole day can become quite expensive.

If you are planning to stay for the after-party, then we would recommend parking at Blandonnet during the day, and re-park your car next to the building in the evening.
